Your Tasks

  • Responsible for designing the end-to-end test & validation system architecture for level 3 autonomous driving
  • Define interfaces and requirements for test vehicles, HPCC, HiL reprocessing units based on customer requirements for ADAS test & validation
  • Support engineers along the whole reprocessing chain based on deep understanding of test & validation for ADAS systems, including test vehicle set-up and route planning, data logging and measurement systems, HiL/SiL reprocessing at HPC clusters
  • Matures the test & validation system through the project life-cycle (esp. reduces / accepts system risk)
  • Controlling the system architecture during the upcoming iterations (repro-unit deliveries to customer HPCC)
  • Leading discussions on “minimum viable product” to ensure timely deliveries according customer product plan
  • Moderates, tracks and monitors changes to the technical baseline including final decision from technical perspective
  • Continuous alignment with responsible for data collection, reinjection HiL build up and data management incl. HPCC
  • Define and ensure consistent application of tools and methodologies according to Magna standards
  • Monitoring of reprocessing system performance and quality of results

Your Skills

  • Master in electronics engineering and/or computer science, mechatronics engineering, experimental physics
  • Test & validation toolchain & infrastructure
  • ADAS data logging, labeling, visualization,
  • Vehicle testing as well as reprocessing of video data/raw sensor data on HiL/SiL
  • Proven experience with ADAS sensors, i.e. Mobileye systems and/or LiDAR systems
  • Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, Auto.Eth, TAPI (ME), UDP)
  • Simulation of computing hardware and related base SW / applications for test & validation purposes (esp. SiL / HiL reprocessing)
  • High-performance computing applications & infrastructure
  • ROS
  • Vector tools
  • MS Office and Project
  • Strong and proven leadership, communication and team motivation skills
  • Ability to see the big picture and willingness to take over end-2-end responsibility
