Your Tasks
- Configuration and support of applications and services related to data engineering and data science deployed in both private and public clouds
- Support and interact with data scientists and data engineers within the Allianz Group
- Accomplish improvement in performance, reliability, and automation levels.
- Resolve incidents and change requests
- Write technical documentation and apply best practices
- Deliver new services for the Global Data Platform (GDP)
Your Skills
- Advanced knowledge in either Kubernetes or Hashicorp Nomad
- Advanced experience with Docker containers
- Kafka and Spark (administration and recovery in existing deployments; programming internals)
- Development of CI/CD pipelines for Gitlab / Jenkins
- Strong knowledge in developing shell scripts (Bash or other POSIX shell)
- Familiarity with Python language (deploy packages; build and distribute python environments), preferably in the context of data science
- General understanding of Networking and IT Security Principles
- Elasticsearch (maintenance and operation of existing deployments, preferably within an orchestrator such as Kubernetes or Nomad)
- Knowledge of the internals in data science tools such as Jupyter notebooks, R-Studio and Zeppelin notebooks
- Tools such as Airflow, Luigi and MLFlow
- Solid knowledge in GIT version control system
- Advanced Linux knowledge
