Technical Consultant (ServiceNow) for Munich/Remote (m/f) - Munich and Remote

Your Tasks

  • Conceptualize, design, code, and test ServiceNow solutions that deliver new system capabilities, system enhancements, or resolves defects
  • Design and develop Enterprise Service Management solutions using ServiceNow
  • Develop content management for ServiceNow solutions
  • Support & maintain applications by proactively resolving issues and enhance application stability
  • Standard ITSM development/support including incident, problem, change, requests (service catalog), release management, and knowledge management
  • Participate in the development of business requirements ensuring a thorough understanding of business needs and processes
  • Assist with product roadmap & business capabilities that align with the application
  • Continuously monitor application performance and vendor recommended patches & upgrades
  • Collaborate with team members to improve the quality and scalability of supported systems and provide recommendations
  • Partner with the business on exploring new opportunities to add value through the use of technology.
  • Provide input for the continuous improvement of the testing process
  • Provide input for the creation of test cases and test labs within HP ALM
  • Participate in User Acceptance Tests (UAT)
  • Identify possibility to automate the testing
  • Participate as a team member in Scrum Meetings (Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review/Retro)

Your Skills

  • Previous ServiceNow development, configuration and administration experience in an enterprise environment
  • Must have experience developing custom ServiceNow applications
  • Integration (interfacing) of enterprise software systems with ServiceNow
  • Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Knowledge, Release Management, etc.
  • Experience working in and managing multiple update sets and coordinating their promotion throughout multiple instances
  • Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow Best Practices and ongoing knowledge of latest ServiceNow features
  • Experience with content management and familiarity with UI side of ServiceNow preferred
  • Participation in the full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and promotion into Production
