For our client we are currently looking for a Worplace Architect. The Workplace Architect is a technical role with experience in multiple technologies for the delivery of services utilized by end users for productivity, collaboration and communications. This includes client computers, mobiles, tablets, system and tools used to manage and secure those technologies across the company.

Workplace Architect – SCCM (m/f) - Geneva

Your Tasks

  • • Provides expertise within IT and across the business with a focus on building a flexible, scalable, stable and secure platform for delivery and management of end user technologies and services
  • • Provides technical leadership and escalation from service delivery team in resolving problems, fulfilling work requests and completing project deliverables
  • • Design, configure and implementation/upgrade of System Center Configuration Manager products and other Microsoft System Center and Infrastructure solutions (SCOM and Orchestrator a plus)
  • • Bring up-to-date insights on Microsoft technologies, industry trends and the competition
  • • Translate business and security requirements to configuration specifications • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, best practices and security rules, participate in process improvement
  • • Develop regression testing scenario on application and OS patching ; validate with service delivery • Guarantee workplace 100% compliance with applied security updated and deliver related reporting on regular basis
  • • Provide expertise on patching orchestration • Mentor team members for all workplace • Deliver hands-on training for all aspects in relation to SCCM, InTune and workplace lifecycle management
  • • Produce and update documentation within the role scope • Attend and contribute to regular team meeting
  • • Plans, conducts and oversees the technical aspects of migration projects ; coordinates the efforts of service delivery team in the performance of assigned projects; provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel
  • • Participate to on-call piquet during week-end and office closure

Your Skills

  • • Extensive architecture and engineering experience of device management with SCCM and InTune in a medium to large corporate enterprise
  • • Expertise in architecture and design of enterprise desktop deployments and processes for developing end to end provisioning processes in SCCM, including OS images, software deployment and patching
  • • Experience with Active Directory, GPO, Office 365, Exchange Server, SfB, AzureAD, ADFS, EMS, OneDrive required
  • • Knowledge of Windows10 security features such as Bitlocker-MBAM, Device Health Attestation, Credential Guard, Device Guard, Exploit Guard, Application Guard, AppLocker and Passport
  • • Deep understanding of SCCM components, roles, interactions, and system dependencies
  • • Experience with Secunia and vulnerabilities discovery is a plus • Experience designing and supporting large-scale OS and Application patch operations
  • • Ability to trouble-shoot and mitigate complex WAN issues related to patch replication and deployment
  • • SQL knowledge as it pertains to the design of the SCCM database and reporting services (SSRS)
  • • Proven scripting experience using PowerShell, VBS, Shell or equivalent tools, along with an understanding of Microsoft API’s and tool integration • Proven track record in core skills for Microsoft Infrastructure Solutions, centering around customer, project and user deliverables
  • • Provides 2nd and 3rd level client support; deploys applications & manages workstations using enterprise management tools. Ability to manage complex problems • Knowledge of standard ITIL processes such as life cycle management and ITSM • Fundamental understanding of network concepts including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, routing, vlans, …
  • • Remote Desktop and/or Citrix XenApp Infrastructure knowledge is a plus • Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management, as well as both the business, technical communities and colleagues
  • • Experience working with offshore delivery & operation team • Proactive, able to work independently and under pressure with good organizational and time management skills
  • • Advanced in English (spoken & written)
