For our client we are currently looking for a SAP IBP / S4 Demand Planning Consultant (m/f/d) - Remote - Some travel to Hannover.

Your tasks

    • Analyze and understand the current SAP S4 + IBP Demand Planning setup and its alignment with business needs.
    • Proactively identify gaps or issues and propose multiple solution options with pros/cons analysis.
    • Take a holistic approach to problem-solving, considering impacts across integrated SAP modules.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and define optimized planning processes.
    • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and follow up on implementation.
    • Ensure integration between SAP IBP, S/4HANA, BW, and related systems is robust and functioning effectively.
    • Support and improve background jobs, data flows (e.g., CIDS), and demand planning logic.
    • Collaborate with internal IT and business teams to support change management and enhancements.

Your qualifications

    • Strong expertise in SAP IBP, especially Demand Planning.
    • Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA, particularly the Sales & Distribution module (Scheduling Agreements).
    • Proven experience with integration between SAP IBP, S/4, and BW.
    • Familiarity with background processes, CIDS, and interface troubleshooting.
    • Proficient in analyzing and designing end-to-end demand planning processes.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to assess cross-functional impacts.
    • Clear communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of presenting solution options and leading discussions.
    • (Optional) Experience with SAP PP/DS is a strong advantage.
    • Located within EMEA time zone, ideally Germany (for potential on-site meetings).
