For our client we are currently looking for a Senior POS Android Tech Lead (100% Onsite in Ireland) (m/f/d) - 4 Days Limerick, 1 Day Remote.

Your tasks

    • Design and develop Android applications and payment services.
    • Integrate back-end payment systems using XML/SOAP, TCP, and HTTP/S.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the software stack.
    • Support architectural design and implement secure, scalable solutions.
    • Mentor team members and contribute to effort estimation.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical and business goals.

    • 8+ years in software engineering, 6+ years in Android development, and 2+ years as a technical lead.
    • Proficient in Java, Kotlin, Android, and C; experience with REST services and Android ROM is a plus.
    • Familiarity with EMVCo, PCI compliance, and secure payment systems.
    • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Technologies: Android SDK, REST APIs, Docker, Jenkins, Git.
    • Payment Focus: EMV-compliant, PCI-secure mobile payment systems for SmartPOS and SoftPOS platforms.
