Solution Architect SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Conducting regular evaluations of the system architecture and collaborating with project management teams to improve the designs
• Create and implement solutions that are scalable, reliable, and high quality.
• Evaluating any project constraints and devising alternatives to reduce risks, whilst performing process re-engineering
• Keeping stakeholders updated about the status of the project development and budgets and notifying them immediately when issues arise
• Finding and analysing any impacts that technical changes may have on business.
• Supervising and motivating development teams to improve their efficiency and productivity
• Performing continuous research on emerging technologies to stay updated with the best alternatives and to improve the existing architectures.
• Documenting provided solutions and systems for handover to operational teams.
• Continuous improvement of architecture with regard to functional and technical requirements, ensuring compliance with architectural principles.
• Together with internal and external implementation partners, design and implement solutions in the implementation of the S/4HANA-based ERP landscape and support the design of a transnational template.
• Responsibilities for designing, holistic planning, and implementation of applications, software architectures within the SAP applications landscape
• Evaluating new SAP technologies and performing PoC (Proof of Concepts)
• Support the S/4HANA-based ERP Global Process Expert team for IT solutions
• Solution Architecture & Design
• Define and own the end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud solution architecture.
• Ensure the system and solutions are driven with Fit-to-Standard and industry best practices recommendations.
• Design scalable, compliant, and future-ready configuration and system setup aligning to adopted business processes of the template.
• Review and approve functional and technical designs across all workstreams.
• Drive process harmonization and standardization across business units.
• Challenge customizations and promote SAP Public Cloud standard capabilities.
• Define roadmap for continuous process improvement.
• Support project planning, estimation, and risk management.
• Identify and mitigate solution risks and dependencies.
• Provide executive-level status updates and recommendations.
• Facilitate decision-making for complex architectural issues
• SAP Public Cloud Expertise
• Govern implementation using SAP Activate methodology.
• Advise on: o SAP Best Practices o Organizational structure design o Configuration governance o Release management o Quarterly SAP upgrades o Ensure adherence to SAP Public Cloud principles and clean-core strategy. Integration Architecture
• Design integrations between SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and other systems like o SAP BTP / CPI o SuccessFactors o SAC o Third-party applications
• Define API, middleware, and event-driven integration strategies aligned to customers IT Standards and guidance.
• Collaborate with integration teams to ensure scalable and secure interfaces.
• Lead architectural reviews and design authority meetings.
• Data & Migration Governance
• Define migration strategy and data quality requirements.
• Carry out / Oversea data Conversion activities and Data Migration activities .
• Validate data migration architecture, approach, and reconciliation processes.
• Extensibility & SAP BTP
• Define/ Follow the side-by-side extension strategy using SAP Business Technology Platform.
• Ensure adherence to Clean Core principles.
• Review custom development, workflows, forms, and automation requirements.
• Recommend low-code/no-code solutions where applicable. Security & Compliance
• Ensure solutions comply with internal security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with security teams on IAM, SoD, and compliance controls.
• Review authorization concepts and security architecture.
