For our client, we are currently looking for an experienced Rust Developer with a strong background in software development, Linux/Docker and hardware-related applications.
Enclosed the project details: Rust Developer (m/f/d) - North Switzerland.
Your tasks
- Develop, test and release high-quality software for IVD and non-IVD products
- Develop technical concepts and participate in feasibility studies
- Take ownership of defined software development tasks
- Define, estimate and plan software work packages
- Create and further develop software specifications and designs
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to the development of the software architecture
- Perform root-cause analyses of complex issues and implement corresponding bug fixes

Your qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in software development
- Strong hands-on experience in software development with Rust
- Very good understanding of Rust core concepts such as ownership, borrowing and lifetimes
- Experience with asynchronous programming in Rust, e.g. async/await
- Familiarity with common Rust libraries and frameworks such as Tokio, Actix-Web, Rocket, Serde or SQLx
- Experience with Linux and Docker
- Experience with CAN bus
