In the beginning...
Westhouse Consulting GmbH is founded in February 2002 by two freelance SAP consultants, in Munich. They decide to put their professional network and experience to good use by placing other freelance specialists within the IT sector.
Westhouse opens a second branch in Switzerland – Westhouse Schweiz AG.
Over 100% profit increase
Westhouse is experiencing rapid revenue growth. Our employee numbers, customer queries and job placements are increasing. We have achieved an unbelievable profit increase of over 100%. Westhouse Schweiz AG founded in 2006 has even shown an increase of over 120%. All this is providing a strong reassurance that we are moving in the right direction.
Westhouse opens a third branch in Italy
In 2009, Westhouse widens its footprint beyond the DACH region by launching a new branch in Milan, Italy.
Our new business unit Permanent Placement is added to our portfolio of services and starts out very successfully.
Engineering business unit expanded
In order to have the ability to support our customers in the Specialist Engineering sector even better, we establish Westhouse Engineering GmbH in 2012. Within just 10 years, we have established ourselves as one of the top 10 IT recruitment consultants in the German market.
Westhouse establishes a subsidiary in asia
The founding of Westhouse Asia GmbH reflects our international orientation. Not only are we expanding georgaphically, but we are also broadening our portfolio even further. Our new business unit – Management & Administration – covers open vacancies in the entire commercial sector.
A year of awards
The Ministry of Economics honours Westhouse as one of “Bavaria’s top 50 companies”. “Focus” magazine distinguishes us as a top recruitment consultantancy. A study by Lünendonk declares us one of the top six IT recruitment agencies. We aim to stick to that path!
Steady growth due to dedicated employees
Even larger, even more progressive. In 2015 we establish new branches in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Munich. Our firm wins the kununu award, which puts us out as a “Top and Open Company”, demonstrating the high level of satisfaction among our employees and applicants. For the first time, we have over 1,000 freelancers working for us, and we are placing more candidates than ever before.
Our job board grows
With our new established Holding Company, we reach even more benefits from new synergy effects. Furthermore we are a member of ADESW – an Alliance of independent knowledge-work. Our location in Italy expands with new branches in Verona and Bologna. Our job board continues to grow and in Germany we reach an increase in sales of 10%.
We are celebrating our 15-year anniversary
15 years of Westhouse – the time goes by so quickly. We can say with confidence, Westhouse has been a success story. Since the beginning, we have grown and recorded cross-sector achievements. In April 2017, the reform to the Personnel Leasing Act came into effect, and brought with it some changes, concerning which we support and advise our clients and candidates. We wrap up the year 2017 with exceptional achievement in our field.
Westhouse 2018 – WE go further
2018, a year full of possibilities – advanced tools and innovative strategies will play an even bigger role in our core business, thereby optimizing our processes to achieve the best possible results. By doing so, we are developing ourselves with the market, which is also undergoing exciting and radical changes, such as the advanced digitalization in IT, as well as pioneering themes such as autonomous cars in the engineering sector. An exciting new year has dawned – move into the future with us as your personnel service provider!
2019 - We are coming
This year we are building on a great milestone in the history of Westhouse: We start the new year exclusively as a Managed Service Provider for one of our biggest customers. In order to strengthen the relationship with our candidates and to improve continuously our service, we are also working on a digital solution in the form of a mobile service. We are looking forward to a further year of good cooperation with you!
2020 - WE embrace the Future
